Conflict and Wars

Write about your reactions to any of the war stories presented in Chapter Five.

 Reading this chapter about war was tough to read.  When I was reading this chapter, I thought about all the injuries and deaths that results from a war.  All these people killing each other, because one country disagrees with another country.  I know wars will happen, because it’s a countries way of settling their difference of opinions.  If countries settled their differences peacefully and avoided wars people would not get injured or killed as a result.  We can always want a peaceful way to settle the disagreements amongst countries, but wars are the way that they are settled.  Reading or hearing about wars makes me think that there are other ways countries can settle disagreements that they are arguing over.
