Family Memories

Write a memory of a family event or scene that had an impact on your growth and development. Think about the importance of the event, and what you learned from it that stays with you today.

Family vacations always had an impact on me.  I enjoyed being with my family on any vacation or weekend trip.  These trips helped me to grow and develop into the person I am today.  The best times were when my family would go to the beach and stay for the weekend.  This would be our time with our Dad.  Dad worked a lot, but he found time to take us out on the weekend to the beach so we could play in the sand, fish, and swim.  The time we all spent together drew us closer as a family.  I have learned spending time with your family makes a family closer.
